On the same day that Kendall Marshall won the Cousy Award he and two teammates have decided that they’ll be turning pro.

As announced by North Carolina, Marshall, wing Harrison Barnes and power forward John Henson will all enter the 2012 NBA Draft.

This means that the Tar Heels will have to replace four starters going into next season.

Senior Tyler Zeller is out of eligibility, and like him all three are expected to be first round draft picks.

“It’s a great day for three youngsters who are taking another step toward their ultimate goal of playing professional basketball,” says head coach Roy Williams. “On a very small stage, it’s a sad day for me because I won’t get to coach them again. All Tar Heel fans will miss them greatly, as well.
