History of No Huddle Offense

I never knew that the 1988 Cincinnati Bengals actually were the first team to run it.  Always thought it was the Bills and their K-Gun offense.

 

 

Here is an ironic quote from Marv Levy who saw the light the next season…

 

“Marv Levy’s headline is that ‘The No-Huddle is No Fair,’ and the next year they’re running it and actually the next year is when they ‘invented’ it,” Wyche said in America’s Game: The Missing Rings.

 

They say it is a copy cat league and this is further proof
